We will instantly process your Medicare claim for you and you will receive the rebate directly into your bank account, typically within 24-38 hours (dependent on Medicare processing times)

Please note there are additional charges for after hours consultations including on Saturdays after 1:00pm.

No bulk billing or concession rate available for children and concession card holders on Saturdays

Medicare exceptions

Forward Medical is a private, family-owned clinic, and we strive to provide the best possible service to our patients. The full costs associated with day-to-day operations are not covered by the government, hence the quality medical care we offer is reflected in our fees. All patients will be required to pay a gap fee for consultations, with the exception of children with Medicare under the age of 16.

Concession card holders will also be offered a discounted rate or bulk billed at the treating doctor's discretion. In case of our doctor completing a referral or requesting investigations through an outside service, there may be costs involved and it is the patient's responsibility to determine this.

Patient Fees & Cancellation Policy

Please be aware that other health professionals (e.g. pathology, radiology, specialists) may charge an out of pocket fee and patients should inquire with individual organisations to determine this.

A cancellation/no show fee of $42.85 applies for all patients who fail to cancel at least 2 hours prior to their scheduled appointment time. Your understanding is appreciated as this is to ensure the appointment can be offered to another patient.
